The climbs from this trailhead are rewarded with beautiful views. I have enjoyed many short hikes of less than a mile to just sit in the quiet and watch the valley below and the mountains beyond.
A 2 mile hike on March 15, 2017 from the Bonita Vista Trailhead produced a list of over 28 wildflowers in bloom! A list has been put in the information box.
